Crazy how "later this week" became over two weeks later 😩
But I guess it's better late than never right?
So still on the discussion of the Inheritance. I like the way "the" makes it clear that this is an inheritance among many inheritances that cannot be compared to this one actually. It is one that is definitely not anything of an earthly breed, infact not only heavenly but even higher than the heavens... This inheritance is of a highhhhhhh grade!
God told Abram in Genesis 15:1, I am your shield and exceeding great reward. This verse should produce a shift in the mind that Inheritance can not only exist as a place or a thing, but rather True Inheritance can be a person and is in fact a person!
Isaiah 66:1 says: Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
It's utterly mind blowing to know that heaven is not God's home or resting place as we have assumed it to be...
Rather it's only a throne. A throne is a place for work! No king sits on his throne, to chill out😂
Throne is for administrative responsibility!
If Heaven were a resting place, then God would not be asking for another rest.
So it is clear, that becoming this dwelling place, is the prerequisite to getting the inheritance which is God Himself!
Cos old wine skin cannot hold new wine. The old wine skin would explode!
The purpose of the sitting on the throne is to administer materials that can raise dwelling place.
Actually it has always been an age long desire in God's heart to dwell with man. Dwelling equals resting... Exodus 15:17
That was why when you got born again, the first thing the Godhead gives is the Holy Ghost. To come and dwell in us and be in us (John 14:17)
Ephesians 1:13-14 helps us see that the Holy Ghost is a down payment or foretaste of our inheritance! God has always wanted us to know that he is our inheritance and we are for his dwelling which is why when they were giving us a foretaste, the Godhead didn't send an angel to help us taste the inheritance. They sent from among THEM!
When you're making icecream, you don't take a pinch of sugar or a portion of milk to taste and be expecting to get the taste of the ice cream. You taste with the real mixture right?
It works the same way😌
